Photographer's Statement

Born in Northern California to an engineer father and an artist mother, the field of photography was a natural world for me to discover. Photography combines an artistic side coupled with an extremely technical side, traits seemingly imprinted into my genes.

While I always had a keen eye for composition and what makes a visually pleasing photograph, I did realize that this alone is not enough. In order to reach a certain level of expertise, both sides must be fulfilled without compromise.

These past several years have been a quest to do just that. Through no substitution of studying the technical aspects of my craft and the utmost important experience of being out in the field and taking thousands of pictures, I have pursued my passion. First as a serious hobby, later as a profession.

While many may feel they are missing out on life peering through a camera, I believe there are few things that equal knowing  I have captured an image that will liven my memories and delight my spirit forever.
